Krasner Jewelers of San Diego desired an up-to-date website to promote their custom-made jewelry, particularly custom-made engagement rings and custom-made wedding rings. Milton Krasner, the owner, had accumulated several video testimonials (short clips of happy customers talking about their new rings) which he wanted to make available on the site. Orang-utan productions wrote some simple Javascript to display these videos, such that the user can view the videos on demand without the whole page having to be downloaded again. The URL changes to reflect the video being viewed, so that the page can be more effectively book-marked. Support for non-Javascript enabled browsers was also implemented.
Orang-utan productions were also able to assist Milton improve the quality of his photographs. Ring wax models were photographed too, which allows Krasner Jewelers to clearly demonstrate the ring production process on their site. A robot-proof e-mail form was included, to allow potential customers to easily contact Milton without him having to worry about spam.
